Overview

The Subpoena Clerk I is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to attorneys and staff, managing complex administrative issues while handling confidential information.

In Short

  • Provide administrative and clerical support to Legal department.
  • Handle complex administrative issues related to subpoenas.
  • Interact with in-house and outside counsel regarding subpoenas.
  • Manage high volumes of phone calls and emails.
  • Prepare correspondence and maintain filing systems.
  • Research and respond to routine legal questions.
  • Assist in coordinating workflow of subpoenas.
  • Provide basic legal support services.
  • Maintain confidentiality of records and information.
  • Participate in special projects as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 2-4 years of related experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of legal assistant or administrative experience required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Access.
  • Excellent typing and transcription skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and adaptable.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment.
