Sales Tax Accountant - Remote

Overview

TaxValet is looking for a Sales Tax Accountant to help clients eliminate the hassle and risk of sales tax, ensuring their needs are met each month while contributing to the team’s workflows.

In Short

• 100% remote work with core hours of 11 AM - 4 PM EST.
• Responsible for preparing and submitting sales tax filings.
• Monitor clients' tax collection variances.
• Provide assistance to resolve time-critical issues with clients.
• Assist with special client projects and internal documentation.
• Be the primary point of contact for clients.
• 1-2 years of accounting experience required.
• Proficient in Excel and Google Sheets.
• Detail-oriented and excellent at time management.
• Willingness to learn and grow professionally.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of accounting experience.
• Ability to manage multiple clients effectively.
• Strong skills in Excel/Google Sheets.
• Knowledge of US sales tax is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with excellent time management skills.
• Effective communicator in English.
• Team player and eager to learn new skills.
