Overview

TaxValet is seeking a highly organized and people-first Client Onboarding Project Manager to oversee the onboarding process for new clients, ensuring a smooth transition and excellent client experience.

In Short

• Manage the onboarding process from client sign-up to completion.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients during onboarding.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely handoffs and project progress.
• Analyze complex transaction datasets using Excel.
• Provide sales tax context and guidance to clients.
• Continuously improve onboarding processes and workflows.
• Support clients in navigating complex sales tax processes.
• Build trust and rapport with clients to enhance their experience.
• Work remotely with core hours from 11 AM - 4 PM EST.

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in project management, accounting, or sales tax.
• Experience managing projects with multiple moving parts.
• Strong proficiency in Excel and data analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust with clients.
• Proactive and able to manage multiple timelines and priorities.
• Willingness to learn about sales tax processes.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Team player with a collaborative mindset.
