Tala is on a mission to unleash the economic power of the Global Majority, serving millions of customers across three continents. We are looking for an External Affairs Intern to develop a public-private sector anti-fraud campaign.

In Short

• Assist in planning and implementing an anti-fraud campaign.
• Identify and report fraudulent activities on social media.
• Prepare monthly and final reports on scam incidents.
• Research tips and tools for fraud prevention.
• Prepare educational material for Tala users.
• Work part-time with a flexible schedule.
• Gain valuable experience in regulatory and corporate affairs.
• Contribute to a critical function within a remote-first organization.
• Receive at least 80 hours of training each month.
• Ideal for students in relevant fields.

Requirements

• Current student of a reputable college or university.
• Proficiency in social media platforms.
• Fluent in English and Bisaya.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Understanding of online security best practices.
• Knowledge of public sector stakeholders in fintech is a plus.
• Students of computer science, statistics, law, psychology, communications, and mass media are welcome.
