• Implementation of information and operational support systems
• Install, configure, test and maintain operating systems and application software
• Maintain security, backup, and disaster recovery strategies
• Write and maintain custom scripts for system efficiency
• Ensure high levels of availability and performance for all systems
• Oversee resolution of critical infrastructure alerts
• Lead performance monitoring initiatives
• Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for team assets

Requirements

• Expert in Windows or Linux
• Experience managing virtualized environments (e.g. VMware, Nutanix)
• Practical networking experience including diagnosing network issues
• Excellent skills in writing and debugging automation tools
• Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform)
• Familiarity with software development principles and CI/CD pipelines
• Strong ability to learn new technologies
• Excellent communication skills
• Minimum 7 years of experience required
• Prior experience in mentoring team members
