Ghost Story Games is seeking a Cinematic Scripter to join their Cinematics Team, combining scripting and storytelling to develop dynamic, narrative-driven systems for their upcoming game, Judas.

In Short

• Develop and maintain high-performance C++ and Blueprint systems for in-game cinematics.
• Design extensible pipelines and tooling for cinematic content.
• Provide technical direction for character animation integration.
• Collaborate with audio, lighting, animation, and narrative design teams.
• Drive performance optimization of narrative systems.
• 2+ years of development experience in the game industry.
• Strong understanding of narrative timing and pacing.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Passion for narrative first-person shooters.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems proactively.

Requirements

• Experience with task/bug-tracking software.
• Experience with Perforce or similar version control software.
• Strong visual scripting and/or programming skills.
• Ability to deliver effectively to deadlines.
• Ability to receive and apply feedback.
