Wireless Network Administrator - Remote

Overview

DIGIT is looking for a Wireless Network Administrator to support the design, implementation, monitoring, management, change management, software upgrades, problem/incident resolution, and root cause analysis of network circuits and devices as part of a large technology refresh initiative.

In Short

• Support design and implementation of network circuits and devices.
• Manage wired and wireless network equipment across hundreds of sites globally.
• Utilize tools for predictive heat mapping and onsite surveys.
• Support implementation of Software-Defined Access (SDA).
• Perform Level / Tier 2+ Network Architecting and Administration.
• Work with Wide Area Network (WAN), Local Area Network (LAN), and Wireless Local Area Network (WLAN).
• Contribute to digital transformation initiatives for GSA.
• Collaborate with technology partners to leverage emerging technologies.
• Drive continuous improvement and business value.
• Coordinate work remotely across various locations.

Requirements

• Experience in Wireless Network Administration.
• Knowledge of Cisco Prime Infrastructure and Ekahau.
• Familiarity with Software-Defined Access (SDA).
• Ability to perform network architecting and administration.
• Experience with WAN, LAN, WLAN, and Data Centers.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely and coordinate with teams.
• Experience in a federal government environment is a plus.
• Knowledge of emerging technologies like AI and machine learning.
• Strong communication skills.
