Network Administrator - Remote

Overview

As a Network Administrator within Aylo’s Global Networking Team, you will be responsible for providing tier 1 support to all internal customers on the various access platforms available to our users as well as contributing to the teams’ projects.

In Short

• Provide tier 1 support to all internal clients on the various access platforms available to our users
• Contributing to the network teams’ projects
• Troubleshoot and resolve operational issues with network infrastructure
• Provide quick resolution and communication for end user issues
• Collaborate with internal departments to resolve issues and new service requests in a timely fashion
• Monitor, communicate for and resolve network infrastructure alarms
• Monitor network performance and propose solutions for performance issues
• Install and integrate new hardware and software
• Participate in off hours maintenances and operations when needed

Requirements

• 1-2 years’ experience in a similar network administration role
• 1-2 years’ experience administrating network infrastructure
• Knowledge and/or experience with Juniper’s Junos OS
• In-depth knowledge of common access layer technologies
• Comfortability & experience with racking, cabling, and powering networking equipment
• Experience with common IGP routing protocols
• Experienced working in a multi-tenant environment
• Understanding of the OSI model and methodical troubleshooting practices
• Experience with 802.1x authentication
• Experience with RADIUS server management and configuration
