Network Administrator - Remote

Overview

As a Network Administrator at Builders Mutual, you will leverage your knowledge and industry experience to maintain and support local and wide area networks, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.

In Short

• Responsible for network maintenance and support.
• Install, configure, and support network hardware and software.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues.
• Provide technical support to end users.
• Administer and maintain network connections and equipment.
• Assist in transforming network topologies for cloud initiatives.
• Occasional on-call and extended hours may be required.
• Work in a hybrid model with a minimum of two days in the Raleigh office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• 3-5 years of experience managing network systems.
• Professional network certifications (e.g., CompTIA Network+, CCNA).
• Knowledge of networking equipment from vendors like Cisco.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Understanding of Azure IaaS concepts.
• Knowledge of Routing & Switching, Firewalls, VPN, and SD-WAN.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
