Under the direction of the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining company relationships with our channel partners. As an RSM, you will facilitate and manage the growth and profitable sales of our Commercial Ventilation Solutions within an assigned territory. You will be part of the North American sales team, with an emphasis in U.S. & Canada. As part of this team, you will develop strong relationships with our external business partners, manufacturer representatives, specifying engineers and design consultants, to secure basis of design, enhance market presence and expand sales. 


This role demands a blend of technical knowledge, sales acumen, and strategic planning skills. We are looking to promote or hire a Regional Sales Manager for the US East Coast region that shares our ambition to achieve our four Key Outcomes: Employer, Brand, Investment, and Neighbor of Choice.

In Short

  • Cultivate and maintain effective business relationships with manufacturer representatives and channel business partners.
  • Provide design and layout assistance to internal team members and external business partners.
  • Provide technical support via phone, e-mail and video conference.
  • Prepare take-off and issue proposals for projects.
  • Negotiate with external customers and close profitable orders.
  • Maintain pre and post bid project files and documentation.
  • Involvement in technical solutions for projects from design to completion.
  • Travel as necessary to facilitate sales and support project requirements.
  • Establish plans and strategies to expand the customer base.
  • Adhere to all company policies and business ethics codes.

Requirements

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
  • Proven experience in commercial HVAC equipment sales.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and sales statistics.
  • Excellent presentation and negotiating skills.
  • Strong influential and persuasion skills.
  • Working knowledge of Sales Force or other CSM.
  • Strong ethical standards and a high level of integrity.
