Overview

The Data Engineer will play a critical role in delivering successful implementation projects of SA’s Evoke™ platform for government agencies, requiring exceptional communication skills and strong technical expertise in data engineering.

In Short

  • Execute data and document migrations for Evoke™ platform implementations.
  • Contribute to the design of conversion methodologies for data transformation.
  • Research and evaluate automated and AI-driven tools to enhance data migration processes.
  • Develop and deploy integration solutions for Evoke™ platform projects.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather data and create models and visualizations.
  • Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and workflows.
  • Ensure data integrity, quality, and security throughout processes.
  • Troubleshoot data-related issues during implementation.
  • Document processes and best practices for data engineering activities.
  • Work fully remote (must reside in the U.S. only).

Requirements

  • Strong understanding of ETL processes, data modeling, and database technologies.
  • Experience with APIs and integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based data platforms and SaaS environments.
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
  • 4+ years of experience in data engineering or similar roles.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL tools.
  • RESTful API knowledge and API testing tools familiarity.
  • Proficiency with Git for managing code changes.
  • Understanding of data security and compliance standards.
