Overview

The Senior Network Engineer at Sysco International is responsible for providing network support with a focus on networks and automation, ensuring effective and efficient network support services.

In Short

• Maintain key network devices daily.
• Support user community via Service Now tickets.
• Monitor LAN, WAN, Load Balancing, VPN, Security, and Wi-Fi operations.
• Provide timely project status updates to customers and management.
• Participate in enterprise infrastructure on-call rotation.
• Develop operational knowledge of network-based tools.
• Perform problem isolation within the network infrastructure.
• Support campus environments and remote site locations.
• Assist in project participation across the enterprise network.
• Engage in ongoing support for LAN, WAN, VPN, and security services.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field.
• Expert knowledge in Load Balancers and Firewalls.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF, EIGRP routing protocols.
• Relevant Certifications (CCNP or higher) held for 6+ years.
• Strong understanding of network fundamentals.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience with networks including Cisco-based LAN/WAN.
• Ability to work in a remote capacity.
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
• Strong time management and critical thinking skills.
