Overview

Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Software Test Engineer to develop and execute test plans, ensuring that all information systems, products, and services meet organizational standards and end-user requirements.

In Short

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures.
• Write test cases and scripts and identify data for test scenarios.
• Perform and lead tests on software and IT systems.
• Document and communicate test results.
• Support analysis of test results and resolution of open issues.
• Experience required in programming languages such as C#, Java, or Python.
• Requires strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools.
• Must have experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• 10+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance.
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.

Requirements

• Strong programming skills in C#, Java, or Python.
• Experience in both manual and automated testing.
• Proficiency in writing and executing test cases, test scripts, and test plans.
• Knowledge of CI/CD tools like GitHub Actions.
• Experience with defect tracking tools such as JIRA and Bugzilla.
• Understanding of performance testing tools like JMeter.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
• Ability to mentor and guide junior testers.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.
