Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a talented Senior Functional Analyst to lead the capture of business requirements for software development teams, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure effective project execution.

In Short

• Lead business requirements capture for software development.
• Collaborate with IT and leadership to document requirements.
• Manage requirements in an ALM tool (JIRA).
• Perform Agile requirement management activities.
• Conduct user interviews and develop business process models.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions.
• Support development teams in understanding requirements.
• Develop and maintain project/product backlogs.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Become a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the product.

Requirements

• Strong background in software development and Agile methodologies.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Expertise with JIRA tools.
• Experience in large Agile software development projects.
• 10 years of professional experience required.
• Master's degree in Engineering or related field preferred.
