Legal Counsel, Commercial and Technology Transactions - Remote

Overview

SwiftConnect is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to manage the contract lifecycle and support various stakeholders in complex dealmaking.

In Short

• Lead counsel for commercial transactions, managing contracts from intake to close.
• Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including SaaS subscription agreements.
• Represent SwiftConnect in negotiations with client legal and procurement teams.
• Provide practical guidance balancing business goals with risk mitigation.
• Build scalable legal tools and infrastructure.
• Improve internal legal workflows and contract lifecycle management.
• Assist with legal aspects of strategic initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions.
• Collaborate with Sales, Finance, CX, and Product teams.
• Work independently in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
• Must have a Juris Doctor and active license to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.

Requirements

• Juris Doctor from an accredited U.S. law school.
• Preference for in-house legal counsel at a SaaS or tech company.
• Expertise in negotiating complex B2B commercial agreements.
• Familiarity with intellectual property and open source licensing frameworks.
• Strong communication and influencing skills.
• Pragmatic and collaborative approach.
• Ability to work independently and remotely.
• Comfort in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.
