• Seeking an experienced Payroll Manager for a full-time contractor role.
• Strong background in Canadian payroll operations required.
• Manage Canadian Payroll function and enhance payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with federal, provincial, and local laws.
• Maintain and enhance Workday Payroll configurations.
• Oversee biweekly payroll accuracy and data integrity.
• Partner with Legal, HR, Benefits, and Finance teams.
• 5-7 years of experience processing Payroll in Canada.
• Experience with Workday and ADP required.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills needed.

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience processing Payroll in Canada; experience with US processing is a strong plus.
• Strong understanding of Canadian payroll taxation laws and regulations.
• Experience with Workday and ADP required; NetSuite and CloudPay desired.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; CPA and/or Payroll Certification preferred.
• Experience managing outsourced global payroll processing teams is highly desired.
• Demonstrated understanding of U.S. GAAP and SOX compliance requirements.
• Strong leadership and influencing skills.
