Audit / Assurance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Audit / Assurance Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, executing, and delivering on all phases of multiple audit engagements, as well as assisting in the development of less experienced accounting staff, while promoting and growing positive client relationships.

In Short

• Supervise the conduct of engagements through drafting of financial statements and completion of financial reports.
• Plan and manage engagements ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
• Develop reputation as a business advisor, recommending creative solutions.
• Participate in practice development efforts by recognizing opportunities.
• Coach, train, and develop lesser experienced audit/assurance staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• A minimum of three years’ experience as a Senior Accountant or equivalent.
• Prior audit experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
