Assurance / Audit Senior Accountant - Remote

Overview

The Assurance / Audit Senior Accountant is responsible for planning, coordinating, managing, executing, and delivering on all phases of audit engagements in a variety of industries, as well as assisting in the development of less experienced accounting staff, while promoting and growing positive client relationships.

• Supervise the conduct of engagements through drafting of financial statements and completion of financial reports.
• Plan and manage engagements ensuring compliance and client satisfaction.
• Develop reputation as a business advisor, recommending creative solutions.
• Participate in practice development efforts by recognizing opportunities.
• Coach, train, and develop lesser experienced audit staff.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field.
• CPA certification preferred.
• A minimum of three years’ experience in Public Accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
• Thorough understanding of GAAP.
