Assurance Manager - Remote

Overview

The Assurance Manager will play a vital role in shaping and maturing the Assurance function at Cascade Asset Management Company, working closely with the CFO and serving as a trusted advisor to department leaders.

In Short

• Lead and expand the Assurance function.
• Define and implement initiatives for operational excellence.
• Conduct Assurance reviews over critical operational processes.
• Develop guidelines for documentation of processes and controls.
• Collaborate with Legal and risk executives.
• Advise executives on internal control matters.
• Review internal control breakdowns with department leaders.
• Assist with internal control monitoring for investment properties.
• 10+ years of assurance/internal audit experience required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

Requirements

• Experience in internal audit consulting/advisory or Big 4.
• Success in identifying internal control improvements.
• Experience in asset management or financial services preferred.
• Strong knowledge of operational, finance, and technology practices.
• CPA or CIA preferred.
• Vision and project management abilities.
• Effective collaboration with executives.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Intellectually curious with strong analytical skills.
• High level of professionalism and integrity.
