Working Student - Data Science (Python or R) - Remote

In Short

• Support in the conception and execution of data-driven consulting and analysis projects.
• Implementation of tasks in Python or R based on specifications from Senior Data Science Consultants.
• Development and maintenance of CLI tools to support data analysis.
• Conducting ad-hoc data analyses (Notebooks) on consulting-relevant topics.
• Evaluation of AI use cases regarding the applicability of Custom-GPTs, open-source ML models, or other ML approaches.

Requirements

• Advanced STEM studies in fields such as Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, Data Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or similar.
• Solid programming skills in Python or R and familiarity with Data Science libraries and version control.
• Additional programming languages like Java and Scala are a plus.
• Initial experience with dashboards (PowerBI), databases, distributed systems, and corresponding frameworks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) as well as cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS).
• Initial experience in developing and optimizing modern statistical models and analytics applications.
• High self-responsibility and flexibility, as well as motivation to work on innovative data products.
• Very good German skills (min. B2) in spoken and written form, as well as good English skills.
