Overview

The Environmental Technician will provide technical support for the Marine Vegetation Mapping Program and assist with various marine environmental monitoring programs.

In Short

  • Must have 4 years of technical experience or an Associate's Degree in a related field.

Requirements

  • Four years of technical experience or an Associate's Degree in Environmental Science.
  • Knowledge of biological and ecological principles.
  • Ability to operate small boats.
  • Ability to collect and evaluate environmental data.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and basic GIS software.
  • Preference for a Bachelor's degree in a scientific field.
