Overview

The Department of Environmental Protection is seeking an Environmental Licensing Specialist II to focus on licensing responsibilities and ensure compliance with Maine's environmental protection laws.

In Short

Requirements

  • Intermediate education and experience in environmental science.
  • Ability to analyze and process permits and applications.
  • Experience with environmental laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and writing skills.
  • Knowledge of Maine's environmental regulatory programs.
  • Experience in customer service in a fast-paced environment.
  • GIS and database management skills are preferred.
