Overview

The Maine CDC Division of Disease Prevention seeks an Associate Director to lead evidence-based prevention programs and services focused on primary prevention, community partnerships, and resilient communities.

Requirements

  • Advanced degree in public health or related field.
  • At least 6 years of professional experience in public health.
  • Strong leadership and management skills.
  • Experience in program administration and budget management.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Knowledge of primary prevention and chronic disease.
  • Experience with grants and contracts management.
  • Ability to synthesize data for decision-making.
  • Experience leading teams to achieve objectives.
  • Supervisory experience is preferred.
