Adult Protective Services Caseworker - Remote

Overview

This position involves performing professional social work for incapacitated and dependent adults, including investigations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.

In Short

• Conduct investigations into allegations of abuse, neglect, and exploitation.
• Assess the need for public guardianship.
• Document all investigation activities and maintain accurate case records.
• Advocate for and coordinate provision of services for clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field.
• Eligibility for conditional or full licensure as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
• At least 1 year of experience working with incapacitated and dependent adults.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload.
• Experience in conducting investigations.
• Knowledge of social services and community resources.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise discretion.
• Strong advocacy skills.
