Commercial Counsel - Remote

Overview

StackAdapt is seeking an experienced attorney in the role of Commercial Counsel, reporting to the Commercial Counsel, Enterprises and Alliances. This individual will be a key member of the Legal team supporting the Revenue/sales organization, driving commercial transactions to close while ensuring compliance with legal and operational standards.

In Short

• Structure, negotiate and draft a wide range of commercial agreements.
• Provide legal advice to key stakeholders on commercial and legal matters within the business.
• Provide thought leadership internally and externally.
• Provide leadership, mentorship and training to StackAdapters.
• 5+ years of experience in advertising technology or general software platform legal experience.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to manage commercial and legal risks.
• Experience in a remote setting.
• Call to the Bar in Canadian Provinces or US states.
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail.
• Positive, collaborative spirit with a learning mindset.

• In-house experience in advertising, technology, adtech, data, or media company.
• Able to manage projects from beginning to end.
• Exceptional legal and business judgment.
• Desire to mentor and educate non-legal team members.
• Adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity.
