In Short

• The Mapping team is responsible for the infrastructure and pipelines that generate and serve the most critical prior required by autonomous vehicle operations: the HD Map.
• Leverage vector priors, onboard detection, and offboard data extraction aggregated across petabytes of AV log data.
• Manage the end-to-end systems that track map quality, issues, and fixes.
• Own Mapping’s services, from systems enabling vehicles to update maps to tooling for editing map data.
• Drive company-wide visualization solutions for geospatial data.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Expert level of development skills in Typescript and React or related experience.
• Experience building end-to-end systems from database to frontend.
• Experience developing JavaScript + TypeScript applications with a focus on mapping applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for understanding user needs.
