In Short

• The Mapping team is responsible for the infrastructure and pipelines that generate and serve the most critical prior required by autonomous vehicle operations: the HD Map.
• Leverage vector priors, onboard detection, and offboard data extraction aggregated across petabytes of AV log data.
• Manage the end-to-end systems that track map quality, issues, and fixes.
• Contribute to Mapping’s tooling and services, ranging from map visualization and editing systems to pipeline monitoring frameworks.
• Design the architecture and own implementation of Mapping’s service ecosystem.
• Engage in requirements gathering across the company and with external partners.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to drive spatial visualization solutions for the company.
• Set a culture of engineering excellence within the team.
• Work closely with management and customers to balance speed of delivery and quality of engineering artifacts.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science or related field, or relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of professional software development experience.
• Proficient development skills in Typescript and React or related experience.
• Experience building end-to-end systems.
• Experience developing JavaScript + TypeScript applications.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills for understanding user needs.
