At Springboard, Teaching Assistant support is critical in helping students stay engaged, motivated, and complete successfully. Teaching Assistants are experienced professionals in their field and are passionate about supporting students to learn the content covered in our curriculum.

In Short

• Answer student questions and spark conversation
• Provide high-quality responses to student questions and technical/curricular review requests
• Balance your shift time among the posted student questions
• Spark stimulating discussions by posting interesting content on Slack
• Become familiar with other student support channels
• Answer subject matter questions and provide feedback on student assessments

Requirements

• Knowledgeable about the curriculum of the course you are supporting
• Available to answer subject matter questions via email
• Able to log in multiple times per day
• Empathetic, kind, and polite with excellent written communication skills
• Patient and able to analyze student issues
• Demonstrate interest in the student's success
• Proficient with tools covered in the curriculum
• Effective at guiding learners and troubleshooting
• Great at time management and prioritizing
• Familiar with other student support channels
