Professional Search Marketing Mentor - Remote

This 10 week course is crafted for marketing professionals looking to boost their digital marketing skills by specializing in search marketing. The program is designed to give students a competitive advantage in the world of search marketing.

• Students become proficient in search marketing with the help of a curated online curriculum and project-based deliverables

• Students have a biweekly 30-minute check-in with their mentor to discuss questions, projects, and career advice!
• Students may communicate with mentors outside of calls on an as-needed basis to support learning and career objectives

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in digital marketing, with a focus on SEO and/or Search Engine Marketing
• Are as passionate about explaining principles of marketing strategy as about digital and search marketing itself
• Expert or strongly proficient in the topics covered in our curriculum such as:
• Data Analytics
• Keyword research
• Competitor analysis
• On page optimization
• Tracking and reporting
• Digital Strategy
• SEM and SEO Marketing Strategies
• Email and Affiliate Marketing
• Must be highly skilled in using the following tools:
• Google Analytics 4
• An SEO tool like Ahrefs or SEMRush
• Google Search Console
• Screaming Frog
• Jira/Asana
• A CMS like Wordpress
• Have experience critiquing work, in particular giving meaningful feedback on digital marketing related work, and are able to think on your feet quickly
• Are empathetic, patient, have excellent communication skills, and can hold other accountable
• Are available for biweekly, 30-minute, 1:1 Zoom check-ins to help students set and achieve their learning goals, provide feedback, and help them move towards getting a job
• Able to spend up to an additional 30-minutes per call to review student submissions before the weekly call and prepare feedback to share with each student during the call
