In Short

• Design and execute research studies that evaluate the safety and efficacy of clinical AI tools
• Develop and operationalize automated safety monitoring plans
• Collaborate with engineering and data teams to build feature-rich datasets
• Engage in customer and external-facing interactions
• Author and submit high-impact academic manuscripts
• Submission of 2+ first-author publications or conference papers per year
• Deployment of at least one fully automated safety monitoring pipeline into production
• Positive stakeholder feedback on safety protocols and published study quality

Requirements

• PhD in a quantitative field
• Track record of ≥ 3 first author publications
• Expertise in LLM, AI/ML model development, validation, and backtesting
• Proficiency in Python and/or R
• Able to distill complex AI safety findings for both technical and non-technical audiences
• Self-starter with the ability to independently scope projects
