Overview

The Team Member Care Advocate offers a convenient and timely resource for the employees of a large nationwide retailer to receive immediate connections to community and company resources. This role can further serve as a partner to help address social determinants of health concerns and other related wellbeing challenges presented by this company's employees.

In Short

  • This role will sit onsite at 3 of the customer’s location around Bronx, NY.
  • The role is Monday-Friday with the hours of 8am-4:30pm EST; either Tuesday or Friday will be the Remote day for this role.
  • Identify and make referrals for work-life, financial & legal, and basic needs support.
  • Link employees to appropriate local and national resources via one-on-one consultation.
  • Work with customer internal care teams on behalf of those employees in need of emergency funding.
  • Offer consultation related to navigating mental health resources.
  • Assist in actively linking employees to appropriate mental health treatment options.
  • Spring Health benefit promotion through relationship building and events.
  • Electronically document and track metrics/outcomes.
  • Attend customer meetings as requested/appropriate.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor's degree in a similar field is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish and English required.
  • Experience working with diverse populations within the social work industry.
  • Experience connecting individuals to resources quickly in times of crisis is a plus.
  • Excellent listening, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Tech-savvy: must be comfortable using various computer platforms.
  • Stable transportation and ability to work from multiple onsite locations.
  • Located within a 10 mile radius of job location listed.
