Our mission on the Advertising Product & Technology team is to build a next generation advertising platform that aligns with our unique value proposition for audio and video. We work to scale the user experience for hundreds of millions of fans and hundreds of thousands of advertisers. This scale brings unique challenges as well as tremendous opportunities for our artists and creators.

In Short

• Develop and maintain web applications and user interfaces.
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers.
• Work as part of a cross-functional team.
• Partner with other engineering teams across Spotify.
• Improve the structure, performance, and maintainability of the frontend codebase.
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation.
• Contribute to discussions about technical direction and best practices.
• Support engineering standards for security and accessibility.
• Engage in growth opportunities like hack time and tech talks.

Requirements

• Quality-focused mindset and interest in all parts of software development.
• Solid foundation in frontend development with hands-on experience in React.
• Comfortable using TypeScript, JavaScript, and modern frontend tooling.
• Care about user experience and design.
• Strong communicator and collaborative teammate.
• Take initiative and ownership over work.
