Backend Engineer - Subscriptions - Remote

In Short

• Work with an outstanding team of backend engineers on our product definition system.
• Collaborate with squads across the Subscriptions mission to centralize the premium product portfolio.
• Build a new system to define product availability, pricing, and discounts across Spotify markets.
• Ensure timely delivery of technical solutions to address business needs.
• Collaborate with key internal partners and stakeholders to design backend systems and APIs.

Requirements

• At least two years of experience as a backend engineer.
• Hands-on experience with Java and building APIs, ideally with gRPC.
• Experience or strong interest in modern cloud and data technologies, including Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes.
• Solid foundation in system design, data structures, and algorithms.
• Strong collaboration skills with internal partners.
