Lead DevOps Engineer - Remote

Overview

The Lead DevOps Engineer will play a critical, hands-on role in modernizing TrustCommerce’s developer and deployment ecosystem, focusing on implementing modern tooling and processes across source control, project and knowledge management, and CI/CD infrastructure.

In Short

• Lead DevOps transformation and tooling adoption.
• Work in Linux environments, preferably Debian-based systems.
• Implement Git and GitLab for source control.
• Design robust CI/CD pipelines.
• Support migration from legacy systems to modern platforms.
• Act as a subject matter expert in DevOps best practices.
• Maintain documentation of system architecture and procedures.
• Monitor and optimize system reliability and workflows.
• Collaborate closely with senior technical leaders.
• Guide implementation and share best practices.

Requirements

• Proven experience with DevOps infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on expertise with Git, GitLab, Jira, and Confluence.
• Experience migrating from legacy ecosystems to modern platforms.
• Strong understanding of DevOps principles.
• Proficiency with scripting and automation tools.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
