Technical Head of Incident Command - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a seasoned security leader to architect and lead our Incident Response & Intelligence program. This role sits at the intersection of cybersecurity, operational readiness, and blockchain-native risk mitigation. The ideal candidate will bring deep Web2 threat intelligence experience, operational leadership in cyber defense, and native fluency in the Web3 threat landscape.

In Short

• Own and evolve the Surface, Structure, and Stress framework.
• Develop repeatable, scalable security procedures for incident readiness.
• Translate technical insights into improved policy and training.
• Define and refine processes for live incident triage and escalation.
• Lead the IR integration track during client onboarding.
• Manage a technical team for readiness training and improvement.
• Work closely with security researchers and account managers.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery teams on best practices.
• Interface with external partners for alignment.

Requirements

• 10+ years in cybersecurity, with 3 years of Web3 experience.
• Experience in building and operationalizing security programs.
• Strong knowledge of DeFi threats and exploit response flows.
• Proven ability to manage cross-functional teams.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
