Overview

We are seeking a motivated and detail oriented Inside Sales Representative to support our Midwest team. This role will work closely with the Regional Sales Manager and play a key part in managing existing customer relationships, coordinating orders, and ensuring seamless communication between customers and internal teams.

In Short

  • Support the Regional Sales Manager in managing and growing existing customer accounts.
  • Process and track customer orders, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery.
  • Maintain and update pricing in internal systems.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for customer inquiries and communication.
  • Coordinate with plant locations and supply chain teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
  • Assist with product samples, approvals, and customer qualification processes.
  • This is primarily a remote position.
  • Attendance at quarterly sales meetings at company headquarters is required.
  • Occasional travel to industry exhibitions and trade shows may be required.
  • Role will evolve into a field-based position after 1-2 years.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Chemistry, or a related field preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a related role.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with CRM or ERP systems is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across teams and functions.
  • Interest in developing a career in outside sales.
