Head of Data Product - Remote

Overview

Data is at the heart of everything we do here at Sourcescrub and we are looking for a proactive and strategic Head of Data Product to lead our global data initiatives. Our Head of Data Product will play a critical role in shaping the next evolution of our data strategy, overseeing the development and execution of our raw data products, and ensuring alignment with our business objectives and applications product roadmaps. This critical role reports directly into our CEO and works closely with our Product and Data Engineering teams.

In Short

• Own the strategy, development, execution, and budgeting for global data products.
• Actively engage in the development and optimization of raw and derived data products.
• Collaborate with Go-to-Market teams on data accuracy, coverage, and freshness.
• Oversee the acquisition and integration of data from diverse sources.
• Design and implement innovative research and data collection methodologies.
• Identify hidden patterns and trends in the data to support client decision-making.
• Establish and implement rigorous data quality measurement and control measures.
• Conduct regular audits and data validation checks.
• Document research methodologies and data sources.
• Work closely with engineering teams to execute on data product roadmap.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in Product Management for data-related products.
• Extensive knowledge of the investing/private equity industry.
• Experience designing and implementing research & data collection processes.
• Strong Excel skills, experience with SQL and data modeling.
• Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
• Knowledge of data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
