Lead Engineer, Client Engineering - Remote

Overview

We are looking for an experienced Team Lead to join our globally-distributed Client Engineering team. Our Team Lead will be a player-coach, both building scalable, high-performance systems for key web products and leading a team of engineers to do the same. Your work will directly impact company revenue, supporting some of our highest paying clients. In this highly distributed environment, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, take ownership of backend development, and have the chance to learn new technologies, solve complex challenges, and contribute to both product and company success.

In Short

• Design, implement, and maintain efficient, reusable, and scalable code for backend systems.
• Drive the scaling of applications and performance tuning of back-end services.
• Write code as part of a collaborative team, building backend features.
• Implement solutions with autonomy, collaborating with engineering leads.
• Define and scope solutions that align with business objectives.
• Develop and maintain documentation for new and existing systems.
• Contribute to a collaborative and supportive team environment.
• Oversee the work of frontend and backend engineers.
• Lead your scrum team and participate in agile ceremonies.
• Work cross-functionally with other engineering and product teams.

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team of engineers.
• 5+ years of experience working with .NET technologies.
• Strong proficiency in C# and Angular.
• 3+ years of experience with SQL.
• Expert-level knowledge of Agile methodologies.
• Experience with coding standards and continuous integration practices.
• Experience with learning new technologies and techniques.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
