Overview

The Enterprise Sales Engineer is a highly skilled pre-sales engineering role that provides deep technical expertise to sales teams globally, supporting the Sophos portfolio including MDR, NSG, Endpoint, and Cloud Workload services.

In Short

  • Provides deep subject matter expertise in respective technology discipline.
  • Assumes technical ownership of opportunities for enterprise accounts.
  • Supports sales enablement and acts as a conduit to Product groups.
  • Conducts trainings and engages with social media to evangelize Sophos.
  • Develops strong relationships with key buyers and influencers.
  • Expands Sophos solutions within existing customer base.

Requirements

  • 5+ years in a presales sales role with a proven track record.
  • Knowledge of selling Managed Detection and Response (MDR) services.
  • Deep technical understanding of cybersecurity protection methods.
  • Experience in positioning penetration testing and vulnerability assessments.
  • Understanding of the enterprise sales cycle and decision-making processes.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills for product demos.
  • Ability to be seen as a trusted advisor to senior executives.
  • Proven ability to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
  • Experience of selling through and with channel partners.
  • A desire to represent Sophos in the security industry.
