Payroll & Benefits Specialist - Remote

Overview

As the Payroll and Benefits Specialist, you will serve as the primary point of contact for payroll, benefits, and onboarding inquiries, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and compliance in all processes.

In Short

• Manage complex payroll systems and processes for the business.
• Oversee the administration of all employee benefit programs.
• Assume full ownership over UKG administration.
• Manage the employee onboarding experience.
• Regular audit and refinement of benefits packages.
• Identify areas for automation and process efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
• Complete internal audits for compliance.
• Prepare reports for senior leadership.
• Negotiate with vendors and broker providers.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in payroll and benefits management.
• Deep understanding of benefits programs.
• Strong grasp of tax laws and labor laws.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
• Exceptional level of attention to detail.
• Certifications such as CPP or CEBS are preferred.
