The Solana Foundation is a non-profit based in Zug, Switzerland, dedicated to the adoption, decentralization, and security of the Solana network. Solana is a high performance blockchain that can deliver a fast and friendly user experience, without sacrificing security. The Solana Foundation is working to realize a world where individuals own their data, use permissionless networks, and transfer information and value freely around the world. We are looking for talented people who are willing to jump right in and use their expertise to help the ecosystem build.

In Short

• Increase adoption of Solana’s technology by working directly with our developer community.
• Help build and/or project manage simple applications that showcase blockchain capabilities.
• Record and create content showcasing development on Solana.
• Speak at conferences and play a community-building role.
• Work with developers to understand their needs and challenges.
• Create prototypes of new applications on Solana.
• Contribute to open source projects.
• Engage with the ecosystem to improve overall experience.
• Identify gaps in developer resources and provide solutions.
• Funnel insights back to the team for technology improvement.

Requirements

• 3+ years professional technical experience in Rust, C, C++, Javascript / Node.js.
• Experience contributing to open source projects.
• Experience with Solana related open source projects is a major bonus.
• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience as a professional software developer.
