Logistic Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Logistic Specialist will process and coordinate domestic, import, and export shipments in compliance with regulatory requirements, while managing relationships with various stakeholders.

In Short

• Process and coordinate shipments for imports and exports.
• Maintain relationships with Brokers, Freight Forwarders, and Customs.
• Schedule execution meetings and communicate order information.
• Prepare documentation including import licenses.
• Ensure accuracy of shipment documentation and validate information.
• Interact with warehouse for packaging and repackaging needs.
• Adhere to company policies and quality improvement programs.
• Provide freight cost estimates for shipments.
• Oversee activities from Logistics Coordinator I.
• Support maintenance of functional work instructions and procedures.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, or Logistics.
• Certificate or Training in Logistics & Supply Chain.
• 5+ years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain.
• Excellent knowledge of MS Office and automated systems.
• Fluent in business English communication.
• Highly collaborative and a team player.
• Proactive thinking skills.
• SAP basic training in functional areas.
• ERP systems training.
