Overview

SOFTGAMES is looking for an experienced developer who is passionate about joining SOFTGAMES’s engineering team as Senior Game Backend Developer. Our engineering team is focusing on building scalable, high-performant, high-quality tools and services that enable our game teams to build and operate their titles for millions of players.

In Short

Maintenance and extension of existing backend services on AWS
Planning and development of new services on GCP/Firebase
Holistic development of services covering backend infrastructure, frontend administration, client library, and development documentation
Development of client and server-side functionality using TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and React
Deployment of cloud infrastructure using IaC
Lean and agile collaboration across multiple teams

Requirements

Expertise in writing enterprise software in Node.js
Solid experience with infrastructure orchestration and distributed architecture
Familiarity with AWS and GCP services
Experience with common data persistence layers and caching (SQL, NoSQL, Key-Value Stores)
Experience creating and maintaining APIs using GraphQL and REST
Strong architectural skills and problem-solving mindset
Desire for continuous improvement and enjoyment of technical discussions
