Project Lead (Project Manager) - Remote

Overview

Sodexo Projects is seeking an experienced Project Lead (Project Manager) to join our professional and passionate team on a permanent, full-time basis. The role is based out of our Balcatta office with regular site travel as needed to successfully deliver assigned projects.

In Short

• Responsible for the safe and compliant management and delivery of building and construction projects in remote locations across Australia.
• Contribute to an overall improvement in safety through regular site visits.
• Projects include housing refurbishments, village accommodation refurbishments, and critical infrastructure upgrades.
• Focused on deploying, adapting, and implementing end-to-end Project Management services across multiple sites.
• Build and maintain strong client, contractor, and wider stakeholder relationships.
• Procuring necessary resources for assigned projects.
• Establishing and developing effective project teams.
• Reviewing and authorising construction planning and schedules.
• Provide support to the wider Projects team.

Requirements

• Demonstrated project management experience in building and construction projects.
• High level of financial acumen with strong project delivery performance.
• Strong tender/quote/bid preparation and evaluation knowledge.
• Pro-active communication skills with the ability to negotiate.
• High proficiency level with Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Powerpoint).
