AI Compliance Engineer - Remote

Overview

SnowHeap is a UAE-based AI consultancy. We ship production LLM systems for regulated industries across MENA/EU/US and need an AI Compliance Engineer to own model governance, safety, and evaluations across our stack (OpenAI, Claude, Agno, CrewAI, LangChain/LangGraph/LangSmith).

In Short

• Define and run SnowHeap’s AI governance program.
• Map laws and frameworks to concrete technical controls.
• Build an evaluation harness for LLMs/agents.
• Implement guardrails and wire them into pipelines.
• Stand up audit-ready telemetry.
• Partner with Security/Privacy on DPIAs/TRA.
• Lead red-teaming exercises.
• Review prompts and datasets for policy compliance.
• Coach engineers and run internal trainings.
• Contribute to proposals and client audits.

Requirements

• 4+ years in Security/Privacy/Compliance, ML governance.
• Strong grasp of LLM stacks.
• Hands-on model evaluation experience.
• Working knowledge of privacy & AI risk.
• Context engineering expertise.
• Solid scripting in Python/Pydantic.
• Cloud/MLOps fluency.
• Excellent writing and stakeholder skills.
