NERC Compliance Engineer - Remote

Overview

The NERC Compliance Engineer will be responsible for supporting the implementation of NERC compliance requirements for Generator Owners, focusing on technical requirements including modeling and protections and controls standards.

In Short

• Serve as a technical subject matter expert for NERC compliance requirements.
• Support development and implementation of NERC compliance program and processes.
• Support development and implementation of internal controls.
• Compilation and delivery of compliance reports.
• Performance of compliance filings and submittals.

Requirements

• Proficiency with protective relay settings.
• Familiarity with generator models.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent time management and planning abilities.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and related software.
• Self-starter able to work independently without continuous oversight.
• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field, Electrical Engineering preferred.
• 2+ years experience in support of NERC Compliance as a technical subject matter expert.
