Overview

As the Head of Demand Planning, you will lead a central area responsible for developing and implementing a stable and efficient sourcing and procurement strategy, ensuring robust and sustainable supply chains.

In Short

  • Lead and develop the purchasing team, conducting feedback discussions and salary negotiations.
  • Responsible for developing and implementing precise forecasting models for demand planning.
  • Develop and implement a stable sourcing and procurement strategy prioritizing efficiency and sustainability.
  • Maintain and expand supplier relationships, negotiating at the highest levels.
  • Analyze and improve existing processes, identifying risks and developing risk management measures.
  • Monitor procurement expenses and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Work closely with product development, quality management, and ESG departments.

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in supplier and supply chain management.
  • Ability to develop and implement long-term strategies.
  • Strong negotiation skills for achieving win-win solutions.
  • Analytical skills with a strong cost awareness.
  • Strong communication skills in German and English.
