Part Time Paralegal Assistant (Immigration Law Focus) - Remote

Overview

We are seeking a reliable, experienced Legal Assistant or Paralegal to support a U.S.-based immigration law practice. This is a part-time, remote role, ideal for a detail-oriented legal professional based in the Philippines.

In Short

• Provide remote support for immigration matters (form preparation, filings, calendaring, case tracking, client follow-ups)
• Draft, edit, and organize immigration petitions, motions, and supporting documents
• Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries for immigration cases
• Maintain case management systems (e.g., MyCase, Docketwise, or similar platforms)
• Manage communication with clients, USCIS, courts, and third parties
• Assist with scheduling, deadlines, and general administrative tasks

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal
• Strong English fluency (written and spoken)
• Tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and use legal software
• Familiarity with MyCase and Docketwise is a plus, but not mandatory
• Experience in immigration law preferred; U.S. immigration law experience is a strong advantage and will be compensated accordingly
• Strong organizational skills, discretion, and attention to detail
