Sustaining Capability Director - Remote

Overview

The Director, Sustaining Capabilities will establish, resource, and manage a ring-fenced Sustaining organization specifically driven to initially address component end-of-life (EOL) in support of ILS Techflow and ILS PSP contracts, and ultimately expanding to all Sustaining activities pertaining to the SDI Americas product portfolio.

In Short

• Develop and refine decision trees for EOL actions.
• Create pathways for input from relevant functions.
• Interface with Functional and Project Managers.
• Track and evaluate harvesting progress.
• Ensure appropriate consumption of last-time-buy materials.
• Communicate EOL activities with customer-facing contacts.
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting processes.
• Lead and develop a team of technical engineering professionals.
• Manage resources effectively across functions.
• Develop strong communication lines with stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
• Experience in Engineering or technical development roles.
• Emphasis on multi-functional project management.
• Experience with sustainment management for technical products.
