Service Costing & Pricing Specialist - Remote

Overview

The Service Costing and Commercial Specialist supports the regional sales activity by developing and delivering timely and accurate costing for complex high value multi-year service contracts, bids and renewals. The role sits as part of a specialist costing and commercial function that supports all geographies globally.

In Short

• Agree outcomes and deliverables with internal stakeholders.
• Review customer tender documents and develop the scope of work.
• Gather inputs and data from various specialists in the business.
• Build costing and pricing models and coach others on their use.
• Provide accurate and timely costing inputs to business cases.
• Communicate status and process of costing and pricing activities.
• Deliver standardized outputs for decision processes.
• Monitor actual service agreement costs and analyze variances.
• Support Service Delivery resource planning through staffing cost modeling.
• Identify improvements to the costing and pricing processes.

Requirements

• Graduate qualification in finance, business, engineering or numerate subject.
• Experience in developing financial costing and pricing models.
• Demonstrated experience in bidding and tender review.
• Strong IT skills and experience with SAP systems.
• Proficient in MS programs, especially advanced MS Excel.
• Excellent written and spoken French and English.
• Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Proven experience in stakeholder engagement.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Team player with initiative and enthusiasm.
